Ron and Fran are humble servants of God and believe each person has inherent value and is a child of God. Ron and Fran are the parents of thee grown sons.
About the Pastor
Ronald McCaskill has degrees in Psychology, Koine Greek, and Counseling. He earned a Doctor of Preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has pastored for 40+ years and ministers to God’s children from all walks of life.
Meet Our Music Leader and His Wife
Ed and Sarah Timmerman are faithful, founding members of Christ Church Cairo. Both are retired educators who find rich meaning in giving to ministry.
Ed Timmerman has an Educational Specialist degree from Georgia Southern University. He was choral director of Cairo High School for thirty-nine years. He was minister of music and organist of Cairo First Baptist for thirty-five years. After concluding his tenure at First Baptist, Cairo, he was organist and pianist for First United Methodist Church, Thomasville. Currently he serves as pianist for First United Methodist Church Cairo in the mornings and serves Christ Church Cairo in the afternoons. Sarah currently serves on the board of directors for Baptists Today.
